Without a PZŁ card, a visitor goes through a bought hunt
Foreigners who are not members of the Polish Hunting Association hunt after buying a hunt from a licensed company.
In Poland hunting may only be carried out with the consent of the lessee or manager of the hunting district. What entitles a person is proof of membership of the Polish Hunting Association (Polski Związek Łowiecki) confirming the relevant qualifications, together with a permit to hold a hunting firearm or another document authorising that. The qualification is obtained by passing an examination before a commission appointed by the Association. For individual hunting one more document is required: a written authorisation issued by the lessee or manager of the district. Article 43 opens the route for hunters from abroad: foreigners who are not members of the Polish Hunting Association may hunt after buying a hunt from companies holding the concession the act provides for, or on the basis of the competent minister's consent. The act also imposes traceability: immediately after taking game and before any transport, the carcasses of moose, red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, roe deer and wild boar must be marked; the duty extends to prepared antlers.
