Where the rules in Huntalis come from

Every rule published in Huntalis can be traced back to its original authority. Here's how.

A rule without a source never becomes a Huntalis rule.

  1. Collect

    API, open data, geographic feeds, or partnership.

  2. Keep the proof

    Authority, URL, license, version, and date.

  3. Normalize

    A shared model for national specifics.

  4. Validate and publish

    Automated checks, then human review.

A concrete example

Every cantonal or national fact sheet comes with a source passport, like this one:

The species photographs come from Wikimedia Commons and remain the property of their authors, under Creative Commons licences. Every image is credited on the sheet where it appears and here.

The future source registry

A complete registry listing every authority and every text used, canton by canton and country by country, will be published as Huntalis's coverage grows beyond launch.

What Huntalis doesn't do

Huntalis never replaces or interprets the official text: it makes it easier to reach and always shows its source, original language, and verification date.
