These terms govern the use of the Huntalis application and this site. By using them, you accept them.
What the service is
Huntalis gathers and organises hunting information by country and by canton, from official texts and the pages of the competent authorities. Every sheet cites its source and the date on which it was verified.
Scope of the information
Huntalis makes the rules easier to consult; it never replaces the official text, which prevails in every case. Regulations change, sometimes between two checks: before hunting, confirm the rule in force with the competent authority, whose link each sheet gives. The maps, the activity index and the potential layers describe conditions or ground, never a right to hunt.
Account
An account is created through Google Sign-In. You are responsible for access to your device and to your Google account. An account may be suspended in the event of manifestly abusive use of the service.
Premium subscription
The annual subscription is sold and billed by Google Play, on the terms shown on the store listing, trial period included. Its management, renewal, cancellation and any refund are matters for Google Play and its terms; deleting your Huntalis account does not cancel the subscription.
Permitted use
The application is intended for personal use in preparing and recording hunting outings. Systematic extraction of the corpus, its republication or its resale are not permitted.
Rights and sources
Huntalis's editorial texts are protected. The statutes quoted belong to the public domain of their state. Species photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licences and are credited on the Sources page. The base map is supplied by swisstopo and the federal zones by the FOEN, on those institutions' terms. The digital terrain model comes from Copernicus DEM GLO-30, public domain.
Availability
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, source updates or technical reasons. Some features — map, weather, up-to-date corpus — require a connection; recently consulted material stays readable offline.
Liability
Huntalis is provided with care but without warranty that the regulatory information is exhaustive or permanently current. The operator's liability applies within the limits of applicable law; it does not extend to the consequences of hunting carried out without checking the rule in force.
Governing law and forum
Swiss law applies. The forum is that of the operator's registered office, subject to the mandatory consumer forums the law provides.
Changes
These terms may be adapted; the version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date. Substantial changes are announced in the application.
