The Graubünden dates for the 2026 season
High hunt in two September blocks, low hunt in October and November, pass hunt until the end of February.
For the 2026 season the Amt für Jagd und Fischerei publishes the following periods. The Hochjagd runs in two blocks: 3 to 13 September 2026, then 21 to 30 September 2026. The Niederjagd runs from 1 October to 30 November 2026. The Passjagd runs from 1 November 2026 to 28 February 2027. The Steinwildjagd is open from 5 October to 8 November 2026, capped at twenty days per hunter. The Sonderjagd on red deer and roe deer depends on the region: it falls between 31 October and 20 December 2026, with a maximum of ten half-days per area. Licences go on sale from 15 August at the “sinergia” administrative building in Chur and at the issuing points in the hunting districts. You must bring valid identification, the hunting booklet, proof of third-party liability insurance and confirmation that the compulsory shooting test has been completed.
